Quick note for reader's in the US - This particular product is hard to find in the US, so we've put together a list of other recommended antiseptic wound & skin sprays that you can find here.
Let me start by saying if you own a Frenchie that doesn’t suffer from skin allergies then you should count your blessings, as I don’t think I’ve met a Frenchie yet who doesn’t suffer from some form of allergies or skin issues.
Louis‘s skin allergies always flare up in the summer when it’s warm, so when Bugalugs released their antiseptic wound and skin spray I couldn’t wait to try it.
In the summer, Louis can get lumps under the fur that look like hives and sores in between his paws which I was previously treating with an antihistamine until I started using this.
The spray is also said to be safe to use all over the body including around the mouth, ears, nose and sensitive areas. It’s really simple to use and with a no-rinse formula you just spray it on and you’re all done. Plus, it’s vegan and tested on humans, not animals, what more could you ask for!
The wound and skin spray is a veterinary-approved formula for a natural response to combat infections. The natural antiseptic spray is hypoallergenic, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal and kills 99.99% of germs whilst still being gentle on the skin.
I can honestly say I have seen a noticeable difference in Louis‘s skin allergies since starting to use this product.
Overall, the Bugalugs Antiseptic Wound & Skin Spray is great for:
- Skin disinfections
- Cuts and grazes
- Minor wounds
- Insect bites
- Post-surgery wound care
Louis and I would 100% recommend Bugalugs Antiseptic Wound & Skin Spray for all Frenchie parents and their Frenchies.
